Be our Guest. Come to our tea party on Saturday! “We are going to make paper beads and you will get a chance to speak with the great Jack Moore. Tea and Cookies will be provided. This event is free! Come out and spend the day at the art center.

Who: For the whole family.
What to wear: Your best tea party costume. We want to see princesses and princes, Queens and Kings. Or you can just wear your tea party clothes: Big hats & gloves. Come out and have some fun!
Come join us and learn to make paper beads and bead roller. Each participant will take home a piece of jewelry made with the beads they made. Would make a great gift for Mothers Day. Extra beads made will be for the two upcoming events. See our list of supplies needed at the bottom of the page or call the center 931.455-1234. We are offering two (2) classes:
Saturday April 28th 10 am -3 pm (Tea Party this day)
Friday May 4th from 1-5 pm

The Tullahoma Art Center is proud to present the gallery solo exhibition for Jack Moore! The artwork of Jack Moore shifts between mediums from abstract oil painting to three-dimensional cardboard sculpture to found objects. According to the artist himself, “he loves to create art to search for a balanced composition, and to keep creating and experimenting with art as sincerely as possible to learn from the experience.
Jack will have a variety of work from sculptures, prints, originals and a selection of original metal signs that will be for sale.

Each student will get to take a piece of jewelry home with them from the beads they created in class. Great gift for Mother’s Day! The rest of the beads made will be used at the Arts Alive Festival and Bonnaroo.
The list of items you will need to bring are:
1. A plastic yogurt, margarine or cottage cheese container
2. 1.5 mm aluminum wire or any stiff wire (approximately 2 feet)
3. White glue
4. Newspaper or magazine pages, gift wrap, scrap-booking paper, etc.
5. Clear lacquer, clear fingernail polish or varnish to give beads a shiny protective coat
6. Small paint brush to apply lacquer or varnish
7. Sharpie pens, acrylic paint, etc. if you want to add some designs.
8. Xacto knife or rotary cutter
List of tools to bring if you have them:
1. paper hole punch
2. wire cutters
3. pliers (round nose and flat nose)
We are looking for the above items and tools to be also donated if you have extra ones that you can give to the center.
